Apartheid was a time of upheaval for many people in South Africa. Political prisoners were held on this island known as Robben Eiland. There are only two land marks visible from the island, namely Table Mountain in Cape Town and Blaauwberg Koppie on the farm where I stay. Although all the prisoners eventualy, after being freed, went to Cape Town and up Table Mountain not even one climbed the other landmark. Makes you think, doesn't it?
